Gothenburg’s International Film Festival is the biggest Nordic film festival and has 2 years in a row been, by Dagens Nyheter, announced as the biggest cultural happening in Sweden. The party holds 2000 guests. This year you can perform here!

Description

Perform at GIFF together with artist like Maskinen and Far och Son (29th of October)!

About the Competition:

Opening Act is your bands opportunity to play at top venues and open the stage to some of the biggest stars. Once registered your music will be posted here, on Opening Act, for all to listen to. Now all you need to do to cement your place as the Opening Act is encourage friends and family to vote you the number 1 by SMS-ing your name to 72500.

The Winner:

You will play at the GIFF party before introducing the headline act's of the night.

You will play at 23:30 on the 29th of October.
You will also win accommodation for one night.
You will also win festival passes and 4 film tickets per member.

THE WINNER CANNOT PERFORM WITH OTHER SET UP THEN DJ AND MICROPHONE!

THIS MEANS THAT YOU WILL HAVE TO PERFORM LIKE THIS.

THE WINNER CAN BE ANY MUSICAL ACT THAT HOLDS THIS RULE, SO BOTH BANDS AND DJ’S ARE WELCOME TO COMPETE.
Last vote counted: Tuesday 26th of Jan 2010 at 18:00.
Most votes at deadline will be the winner.
If you can’t perform with only dj and microphone your chance will be given to the runner up.
